Lucia Dupuis

December 1, 1930 — March 14, 2015

Lucia D. Dupuis, a longtime resident of Forbush Avenue, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by members of her family on Saturday, March 14, 2015. She was 84.

Born on December 1, 1930 in Berlin, NH, she was the daughter of Argenas and Anna (Roy) Croteau

Lucia attended Berlin schools.

On April 19, 1952 she married Lucien Dupuis and together they raised six children.

Lucia was employed in the towel room with Brown Company for many years. She also worked many years for Fleury-Patry Funeral Home.

Her greatest joy was her family; she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved the time she spent caring for her grandchildren. She was a Den Mother for over 12 years and was awarded Den Mother of the year for the Cub Scouts, she was a member of the VFW Axillary, she belonged to a bowling league, she enjoyed playing Bingo at the VFW and was also a volunteer for them for many years, and she just loved spending time with family and friends.

Lucia was a communicate of St Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish.

Beside her parents, she is pre-deceased by her husband Lucien G Dupuis who passed August 15, 2014; an infant son Lucien Joseph Dupuis; four brothers Josephat, Gerard Rosario and Romeo Croteau; four sisters Albertine Landry, Lorraine Vachon, Clarisse Labrecque and Simonne Lavoie.

She leaves two sons Normand Dupuis and wife Hunky of Berlin and Richard Dupuis of Port Ritchie, FL; Four daughters Linda Labbe of Marlborough, CT, Helene Chouinard of Michigan, Lucille Boutin and husband Timothy of Shelburne, NH, and Nancy Lachance of Dover, NH, 12 Grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, three sisters, Therese Fortier, Beatrice Welch and Rolande Levesque and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Wednesday, March 18th at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Berlin.

Calling hours will be held from 2-4pm & 7-9pm Tuesday March 17th and from 8:30am- 9:30 am Wednesday morning March 18th at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH.
