Louise Porretta

Mrs. Louise Porretta, 95, 199 Howard Street, Berlin, NH passed away early Saturday morning January 7, 2006 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. She was born in Berlin, NH on February 13, 1910 the daughter of Ascenzio and Rose (Secondeni) DiProspero and was a lifelong resident. Prior to her retirement in 1981, she was co-owner of the Traveler Motel in Berlin with her husband Julius and prior to that they were the sole proprietors of the City Fruit Market for 25 years. Members of her family include a daughter Nancy Hennessey and her husband James of Berlin, NH; two grandsons David Bellefeuille of Morrison, CO and Paul Bellefeuille of Waterford, VT; two great grandchildren Aaron and Brittany both of Morrison, CO. She was predeceased by her husband Julius Porretta in August of 1992 and a great grandchild Nicholas Bellefeuille on August 4, 2005. A MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated on Tuesday morning January 10, 2006 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Church in Gorham, NH. Relatives and friends may call on Tuesday morning from 9:00 until the time of the Funeral Mass at the Bryant Funeral Home 1 Promenade Street in Gorham, NH. Interment will be in the Holy Family Cemetery in Gorham. Anyone who wishes may make a donation to The Holy Family Church Memorial Fund in her memory or to a Charity of ones choice.
