Louise E. Griffin, 88, of Riverfront Drive passed away Sunday, February 02, 2014 at Bedford Hills Nursing Home in Bedford, NH.

Born on Feb 1, 1926 in Berlin, NH, she was the daughter of Sylvain & Nellie (Hinds) Wedge. A longtime resident of Berlin, NH, Louise was a homemaker and lived in Manchester for the past 20 years.

She was a communicant of St. Kieran's Church now Good Shepherd Parish and was a member of the St. Kieran's Alter Guild. She was a past president and member of the Berlin VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a 4-H leader.

She was a passionate seamstress, spent many hours making dolls and doll clothes in which she sold at craft fairs across the state. She truly enjoyed playing scrabble with her family and she also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include three daughters: Mrs Michael (Peggy) Drago of Concord, NH, Mrs John (Kristie) Melo of Londonderry, NH, and Mrs Joseph (Joanne) Rosselli of Pelham,NH, a son James Griffin and his wife Martha of Winchester, VA; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, a sister Mary Jane Lambert of Fairfax, VA, and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon Wednesday, Feb 5 at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High St, Berlin, NH. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Berlin.

Calling hours will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Tuesday evening Feb 4 at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to either Easter Seals or American Cancer Society.
