Louise C. Riff

Mrs. Louise C. (Chomack) Riff, 82, formerly of 50 Wentworth Ave., Berlin, NH passed away on Saturday June 13, 2009 at Weeks Medical Center in Lancaster, NH. She in Berlin, NH on Sept. 23, 1926 the daughter of Kolank and Haphia (Sychick)Chomack and was a lifelong resident. Lou was a member of the Orthodox Church of the Holy Resurrection, where she was very active in church functions. She enjoyed taking rides with her husband Donald in their Model A Ford and playing bingo. In her younger years, she was employed in the towel room for the Brown Company. Members of her family include two daughters Mary Lou Beaulac and her husband Timothy of Gorham and Donna Desilets and her husband Robert of Berlin; three grandchildren Sandy Lafferty of Dunbarton, NH, Rob Desilets of Manchester, NH and Holly Beaulac of Gorham, NH; two great grandchildren Marissa Lafferty and Adam Lafferty; four sisters Eva Applegate of Manchester, NH, Nina Johnson, Theresa Thomas and Claudia Nichols, all of Berlin, NH; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Donald F. Riff. SERVICES: Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning June 17, 2009 at 11 AM in the Chapel of the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, NH. Interment will follow in the Russian City Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
