Louis R. Gagnon

Mr. Louis R. Gagnon, 82, of 371 Portland St., Berlin, NH passed away on Monday January 24, 2011, at his home. He was born in Berlin on February 9, 1928 the son of Adelard J. and Jennie F. (Black) Gagnon and was a lifelong resident, except for the time spent in the military. He was a US Army Veteran of World War II and Korea. Louis was employed by Brown Co., James River and Crown Vantage for 39 years, retiring in 1990. He was a member of the White Mountain Post #2520VFW and Good Shepherd Parish. Members of the family include his wife Rita (Langevin) Gagnon of Berlin; 3 daughters Susan Griffin and husband Gene of Berlin, Cheryl Bergeron and husband Rene of Concord, NH and Ann Marie Morin and husband Claude of Milan; 5 granddaughters Katy, Stefanie, Mary, Josee & Abigail; 1 grandson Keith; great grandchildren Alexis, Zachary, Cameron, Jaxon, Maddox and Reese; 2 brothers Norman Gagnon of Manchester, CT and Wilfred Gagnon of Berlin, NH; many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday Jan. 28, 2011 at 11 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Thursday Jan. 27 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM.
