Louis M. Rozek, Md

Louis M. Rozek, MD, 92, of Berlin, NH passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 30, 2013 in Berlin. He was born in Berlin on October 27, 1920 the son of Andrew J. and Nellie (Ansara) Rozek and was a lifelong resident. He was a Captain with the Medical Corps in the US Army for three years and graduated from the University of Vermont Medical School and the Vassar Brothers Hospital in Poukeepsie, NY, where he did his internship and residency. Dr. Rozek opened his medical practice in 1950 and retired in 1995. He was a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church and his interests included Theology and economics. Members of the family include his son Michael Rozek and wife Kem of Berlin; daughters Karla Marie Rozek of Jaffrey, NH and Jan Louise Clark and husband Donald of So. Berwick, ME; grandchildren Barbara Poulin and husband Ryan of Berlin, Thomas Rozek and Heather Houston of Berlin, Jennifer Tremblay of Virginia, Andrew Tremblay and wife Suzanne of FL, Lindsay Clark of IL and Justin Clark and wife Erica of MA; great-grandchildren; brothers Joseph Rozek, and late wife Lucille, of Berlin and Richard Rozek and wife Rita of Portsmouth, NH; nieces, and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on May 18, 2013 at 2 PM at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Berlin. Interment will be at a later date. There will be no calling hours. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
