Lorraine M. Gauthier

Mrs. Lorraine M. Gauthier, 79, of 15 Chalet Loop, Berlin, NH passed away on Thursday March 25, 2010 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. She was born in Berlin, NH on August 6, 1930 the daughter of Harmon and Julie Ann (Gallant) Roers and was a lifelong resident. She owned and operated The Village Store in Napert Village in Berlin for 22 years. She was then employed as a nurses aide at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home and AV Home Care Services, retiring at age 77. She was a member of Good Shepherd Parish and M.R.A. Members of the family include 2 sons Wayne Gauthier of Berlin, NH and Michael Gauthier of Berlin, NH; 1 daughter Jayne Hayes of Fryeburg, ME; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 sister Dorothy LeBreton of Berlin, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Emmanuel E. Gauthier in August of 1989 and by a great grandchild. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday March 27, 2010 at 1:30 PM at Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in Holy Family Cemetery in Gorham. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave. Berlin on Saturday from 11 to 1 PM prior to the mass. Donations in her memory may be made to Lazarus Ministry .
