Lorraine B Flibotte

Berlin, NH

Lorraine B Flibotte, a longtime resident of Norway Street, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at home after a short battle with Cancer. She was 87.

Born on April 10, 1927 in Berlin, NH, she was the daughter of Edward and Marie (Vachon) Breault.

Lorraine was a graduate of Berlin High School.

In 1947 she married Oliver Flibotte and together they raised three children.

She was a switchboard operator for Bell Telephone. She also worked at Converse Shoe Company.

She was a communicant of St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish.

She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary during her years in VT. She and Oliver were members at the Eagles Club in Berlin, NH where they spent time with friends.

Her greatest love was her family. In her earlier years she and Oliver enjoyed dancing and traveling. She also enjoyed going to Bingo, Bowling and doing a variety of different crafts.

Besides her parents and husband, she is pre-deceased by four brothers Wilfred, Norman, Robert and Clement Breault and two sisters Alice Aubin and Lucille Eth.

She leaves behind her two sons, Raymond Flibotte and his wife Debra from Raymond, NH, Norman Flibotte and wife Ann of Marshfield, VT, her daughter Carol Flibotte of Berlin, NH; Six Grandchildren; Eleven Great-Grandchildren; Five Great-Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at St Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. Burial will follow at St. Kieran's Cemetery, Berlin.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 24, 2014 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street in Berlin. (please use School St entrance)
