Lorraine A. Baillargeon of Lancaster Road (Brae Burn Village) passed away Tuesday Morning, November 30, 2010 at her home following a long illness. She was 81.

Born on July 10, 1929 in Berlin, NH, she was the daughter of Alphonse and Alma (Montminy) Lafrance.

She attended St. Joseph School.

On Sept 6, 1948, she married Robert J. Baillargeon. They resided on York Street and then Second Avenue in Berlin for many years. He passed away on May 13, 1987.

In earlier years, she was employed at IGA in the Deli Dept, Globe Department Store, Kelly's Bakery, Granite State Rubber Company and as a chambermaid at the Royalty Inn in Gorham, retiring in the 1990's.

While residing in Berlin, she was a communicant of St. Joseph Parish now known as St Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish and she was currently a communicant of Holy Family Parish in Gorham.

She is survived by four sons: Daniel Baillargeon and his wife Donna of Berlin, Brian G. Baillargeon and his wife Debbie of Bristow, Virginia, Richard K. Baillargeon and his wife Laurie of Berlin and David P. Baillargeon and his wife Aimee of Bend, Oregon

A daughter Priscilla S. Bergeron and her husband Albert of Gorham

Grandchildren: Paula Gonthier, James Bergeron, Andrew Bergeron, Cindy Langlais, Shawn Baillargeon, Shauna Baillargeon, Korin Baillargeon, Jason Baillargeon, Sarah Baillargeon, Charlie Baillargeon, and Olivia Baillargeon.

Great-Grandchildren: Raegan Baillargeon, Cienna Langlais, Daren Langlais, Hailey Gonthier, and Allison Gonthier.

Four brothers: Normand Lafrance and his wife Emma of Gorham, Lucien Lafrance and his wife Jackie of Berlin, Leo Lafrance and his wife Marguerite of Lanconia, and Robert Lafrance and his wife Marguerite of Berlin.

A sister Theresa Lafrance of Berlin.

Many Nieces and nephews.

She is pre-deceased by brothers Antonio, Roland, Telesphore, and Maurice Lafrance and sisters Florence Picardi, Annette Morin, Doris Pepin, Laurette Rosseau, Blanche Therrien, and Cecile Gagnon.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon Saturday, December 4 at Holy Family Church in Gorham. Interment will follow at the family plot at St. Kieran Cemetery in Berlin.

A calling hour will be held prior to the Mass from 10:30am to 11:30am Saturday Dec 4 at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 33 Exchange Street, Gorham.
