Lillian M. Provencher

Lillian M. Provencher, 87, of 14 Park St., Gorham, NH passed away on Sunday September 16, 2012 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin with her family at her side. She was born in Berlin on May 17, 1925 the daughter of Joseph Alex and Mary Lillian (Frazier) Dubie and was a lifelong resident of Gorham. She was a graduate of Gorham High School and was a member of Holy Family Church. Lillian was a loving mother and grandmother who was extremely devoted to her family. Over the years, she had many interests and took in anyone as if they were her own. She loved her children and grandchildren, had a sweet tooth, loved her puzzle books and enjoyed the scenery of the mountains from her porch. Her grandson Alex was quoted saying She taught us to keep a special place in our hearts for family no matter where we are. Members of the family include 1 son Don Provencher of Gorham, NH; 3 daughters Linda Blanchette and husband Don of Weare, NH and FL, Lisa Sankiw and husband John of Gorham, NH and Lauralee Lamontagne and husband Jeff of Manchester, NH; grandchildren Alex, Taylor and Adam Lamontagne and Noah and Amanda Sankiw; 1 sister Agnes Brault and husband Rosaire of Gorham, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred Provencher in 2007 and a sister Catherine Gagne in 2011. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Church on Saturday September 22 at 1 PM.
