Lillian E Theberge

Lillian E. Theberge of Fourth Avenue went into the arms of her Lord and Savior on Monday afternoon (November 29, 2010) at her home. She was surrounded by her family who were in unison in prayer with her Pastor Dean A. Stiles present. She was 81.

Born on December 17, 1928 at the family home on Coos Street in Berlin, NH, she was the 10th child of 12 to Narcisse and Marie (Francouer) Beaudoin.

Lillian attended Guardian Angel School and Notre Dame High School in Berlin.

On September 3, 1949, she married Maurice J. Theberge. They enjoyed 49 years of marriage until his passing on April 10, 1998.

In earlier years, she was employed at St. Louis Hospital and as a stitcher at Ware Knitters in Berlin.

Lillian was a devoted homemaker and a former communicant of St. Joseph Church in Berlin.

She was devoted to her Lord and Savior and enjoyed her daily readings of scripture and fellowship with the Lord. She also enjoyed listening to Christian Music and Hymns.

Known as an "Others" minded person, she was very active over the years in many ways. She would organize card parties and prizes for the Golden Age Club and was active at the Community Center and volunteered at the food pantry and senior meals.

She also enjoyed bus trips with the Senior Citizens.

She is predeceased by her brothers Henry, Ovila, Adrien, Laurier, & Roland Beaudoin and her sisters Juliette Landry, Rose Brisson, Freda Belanger, and Marie Cote.

She leaves her sons Dennis M. Theberge and his fiancAC. Lina Dubois of Salem, NH and Paul Theberge and his wife Jean of Berlin, Her daughter Susan Benedict and her husband Tim of Ticonderoga, NY, A sister Gertrude Gagnon of Berlin, Six Grandchildren: Troy Lachance and his wife Sarah of Dummer, Shawn Lachance of Lunenberg, VT, Nathan Theberge of Berlin, Amy Theberge of Harpswell, Maine, Marie Theberge of Berlin, and Matthew Theberge of Berlin, 7 Great-Grandchildren Tyler, Dhelia Rae, Blayne, Garrett (Buddy), Paige, Emma, and Deegan, A brother-in-Law Gerard "Jiggs" Lassard of Berlin. Several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at 10am Friday, December 3, at First Baptist Church of Berlin, 79 High Street, Berlin. Rev. Dean A. Stiles will officiate. There are no calling hours.

Burial will be at the family plot at St. Anne Cemetery in Berlin.
