Lila A. Viger

Lila A. Viger, 72, of Berlin, passed away on Sunday April 1, 2018 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital. She was born in West Stewartstown, NH on August 26, 1945 the daughter of the late David and Beulah (Shatney) Pond and spent most of her adult life in Milan. She did live in Georgia and Tennessee before returning to the area. Lila had been employed as a CNA for many years and had worked at the Morrison Nursing Home. In her younger years, she had worked at the mill. She attended the Milan Methodist Church and loved doing puzzles, listening to country gospel music, playing the guitar and singing. Family includes her husband Laurent Viger of Berlin, NH; children Ann Monroe of Clinton, TN, Norma Wilt and husband Harold of Berlin, NH and Charlene Harrison and husband Patrick of Hebron, ME; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brothers Urban Pond and wife Norma of Jonestown, PA and Roger Pond and wife Dixie of Carlisle, PA; sister Aline Pond and husband Arthur of Myerstown, PA; step sisters Marilla Lyndes of Lancaster, NH and Veronica Boudle of Stark, NH; niece, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her daughter Beulah Mae and brothers David Pond, Jr. and William Pond. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday April 5, 2018 at 4:30 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
