Leopold Paul Lacasse

April 19, 1931 — November 11, 2010

Leopold A. Lacasse, known as "Paul", died in St. Petersburg, Florida on November 11, 2010, at St. Petersburg General Hospital. He was 79. Paul grew up and worked in Berlin, NH most of his life. He served in the Air Force from 1952-1956. He was a Mechanic at M&M Auto Body Shop for many years. He was a member of The Teamsters Union and drove for Adley Express and Yellow Freight. He retired to Florida in 1998.

Paul married Evelyn Flibotte in 1953. He was later married to Lorraine Gilbert who died in 1991. Paul shared his life most recently will Alma Baillargeon, now deceased, and the family wishes to thank Alma's family for their attention and care of Paul in recent years.

Paul was a quiet and courageous man, a cancer survivor for over 25 years. His family will miss him very much.

He is survived by his only child, Gail Lacasse Goldberg, and her husband, Steve of Portsmouth, NH. He also leaves behind a sister, Victoria Bouchard and her husband, Rene of Berlin, NH, a brother, Real Lacasse, of St. Petersburg, Fl., his brother in law, Richard Gauthier and his close cousin Estelle Bouchard and her husband, John of Berlin, NH and St. Petersburg, Fl. Paul was predeceased by his Father, Leo, his Mother, Rose, and his sisters Florence Gauthier and Marie Deschenes Riner both of St. Petersburg, Fl.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon, Saturday, November 20 at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Berlin.

Friends and Family wishing to pay their respects may visit from 10am-11:30am Saturday, Nov 20 at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH.
