Mr. Leonel Saucier, 87, of Cascade Flats, Gorham, NH passed away on Tuesday morning November 2, 2010. He was born in Berlin, NH on September 19, 1923 the son of Herbert and Orillia (Labbe) Saucier and was a lifelong resident of the area. Mr. Saucier was a US Navy veteran of WW2 where he served from February of 1943 to October of 1945. He had been employed by the Brown Company and James River Corporation as a Tin Smith. He was a member of Good Shepherd Parish and a former member of St. Joseph Church. Members of the family include his four children Richard Saucier and his wife Linda of Manchester, NH, Michael Saucier and his wife Karen of Berlin, NH, Linda Ouellette and her husband William of Hooksett, NH and Simone Fournier and her husband Donald of Manchester, NH; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers Alphe Saucier of Berlin, NH and Paul Saucier of Littleton, NH; a sister Jeanne Tremblay of Texas; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Rhejeanne (Desgroselliers) Saucier and by four brothers Alcide, Albert, Raymond and Patrick Saucier. SERVICES: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, 345 Pleasant Street in Berlin. Interment will be in the St. Kieran Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Friends attending the services are asked to meet directly at the church for the Mass. Anyone who wishes may make a donation in his memory to the A.V.H. Home Health & Hospice Services, 59 Page Hill Road, Berlin, NH 03570.
