Leonard B. Whiting

Mr. Leonard B. Whiting, 75, of Falmouth and formerly of Gilead, ME passed away on Thursday morning July 9, 2009 at his home. He was born in Swampscott, MA on Nov. 3, 1933 the son of Harold B. and Elizabeth (Little) Whiting. He had worked for the Brown Company for many years and later at S.D. Warren in Westbrook, ME, as well as other paper companies. He was a Veteran of the armed forces. Leonard was a graduate of Carnegie Tech in Pennsylvania, he loved his cars and enjoyed time spent with his family. Members of the family include his daughter MaryBeth Walz of Portland, ME; his son Lawrence Whiting of Alaska; 4 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a sister Norrine Cendron of France; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Jean (McCuin) Whiting. There will be no services or calling hours. Arrangements are by the Bryant Funeral Homes, Berlin & Gorham, NH.
