Lena G. Devoid

Lena G. Devoid, 84, of Gorham, passed away at her home on February 17, 2017. She was born in Berlin on April 12, 1932, a daughter of Henry and Ozina (Brien) Dufresne. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a Graduate of Notre Dame High School, Class of 1950. Lena is a member of St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. She enjoyed cooking, reading, puzzles and BINGO. Family members include three sons; Ronald Devoid of Berlin, Richard R. Devoid of Gorham and William Devoid and wife Terri of Berlin; a daughter Debra Roberge and her partner Tony Greska of Milan; 7 grandchildren; Adam Devoid, Jacob Devoid, Amanda Pierce, Alyssa Devoid, Ryan Roberge, Cassie Devoid and Andrea Ried; 10 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Richard E. Devoid in 1994, a son Donald Devoid and a granddaughter Carolyn Devoid. A funeral service will be held Wednesday morning February 22, 2017 at 10:30 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 9 to 10:30 prior to the service. Burial will follow in St. Anne Cemetery.
