Laurette Croteau

Laurette Croteau, age 86, of Derrah Street, passed away, on May 23, 2012, at her home, following a period of declining health.

Laurette was born in Berlin, on July 9, 1925, a daughter of the late Albert and Ida (Cormier) Fecteau. She attended Berlin Schools and later married Oliva Croteau and together they raised three sons and a daughter.

Laurette was a member of St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin and was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne. She enjoyed being a homemaker, spending time with family and will be remembered as just being "happy at home".

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Oliva on July 9, 1997, her brother Leo Fecteau and three sisters Beatrice Cusson, Rita Bergeron and Laura Maurais. She is survived by three sons; Roger Croteau and his wife Lorraine (Bald) of Bristol, CT., Dennis "Snoopy" Croteau of Berlin, David Croteau and his wife Cecilia (Kirkman), of Stafford, Va., a daughter Diane Croteau of Berlin, a brother Gerard Fecteau of Berlin and a sister Jeanne Garon of Berlin, four grandchildren Matthew Croteau, Melissa Croteau, Jesse Croteau and Jodie Croteau, three great grandchildren Keenan Croteau, Delanie Croteau and Jarson Croteau and several cousins and nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 25, 2012 from 7 to 9 PM at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin, NH. Burial will follow at St. Kieran Cemetery in Berlin.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Vermont and New Hampshire Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association 10 Ferry Street, Suite 427 B, Concord, NH 03301
