Lauretta V. Gagne, 91, of Cates Hill Road, Berlin NH passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Androscoggin Valley Hospital, surrounded by her family after a brief illness.

Born in Canada on August 18, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Lillian (Pelchat) Dumoulin.

She was a member of St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish.

On September 2, 1940 she married Ernest Gagne and together they raised three daughters.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her greatest love was her family, she was a very loving, caring and devoted, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Her past times included cooking, knitting, reading, watching the food channel and she also enjoyed the company of her cats.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Ernest and four brothers Rene, Gerard, Robert, and Arthur Dumoulin.

She is survived by her three daughters Laurette Bourbeau and husband Robert; Rita Gagne and Denise Gagne all of Berlin. She also leaves behind six grandchildren; Lisa Marquis and husband Scott of Manchester, CT, Claude Bourbeau of Fond-du-Lac, WI, Rene Bourbeau from Berlin, Sylvia Lowe and husband Charles Jr of Randolph, NH, Diane Bourbeau of Milan and Paul Bourbeau and wife Lisa of Berlin; six great-grandchildren; Sisters Bertha Blais, Rita Blair and husband Victor both of Berlin; Brothers Leo Dumoulin and wife Denise of Berlin and Roland Dumoulin and wife Mary of NY, and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Monday, March 17, 2014 at St Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Berlin.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street in Berlin. (please use School St entrance)
