Laura Olmstead

Mrs. Laura (Valliere) Olmstead, 88, formerly of 345 Madison Avenue, Berlin, NH passed away on Friday December 1, 2006 at the St. Vincent de Paul Healthcare Center in Berlin. She was born in Berlin on January 23, 1918 the daughter of Joseph and Eva (Gosselin) Valliere and was a lifelong resident. She had been employed by Converse Rubber Company and was a member of Holy Family Church in Gorham. Members of the family include her children Beverly Legendre of Grove Hill, OH, Keith Olmstead of Gorham, NH, Dan Olmstead of Dummer, NH and Cindy Riendeau of Berlin, NH; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Leo Hawk Olmstead and brothers George Valliere, Leon Valliere and Roland Valliere, . A private family funeral service will be held. Interment will be in the Holy Family Cemetery in Gorham, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Healthcare Center Activities Fund, 29 Providence Ave., Berlin, NH, 03570.
