Laura (Kelly) Allain

(Mom, Memere, Mem, Bon-Femme) Laura Allain, 89, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Friday January 10, 2014. Laura was born in Berlin on December 15, 1924 a daughter of Henry and Emma (Nolette) Kelly. She was a lifelong resident of Berlin, you can remember her smiling face and friendly personality from working many years at Kellys Pastry Shop. She was a member of Holy Family Church in Gorham. Laura enjoyed family time and watching them play sports and all other activities they were in. She was proud of the bond and love she had with all of them especially her husband of 67 years. She is survived by her husband Ernest Allain of Berlin, two sons Ernie Allain and fiance Lisa Fournier of Berlin and Peter Allain and his wife Sandy of Berlin, 5 grandchildren, Brian, Holly, Greg, Jeff and Kim, 3 great grandchildren, Abigail, Alex and Nick, a sister Rita (Kelly) Bilodeau of Berlin, brother Robert Kelly of Gorham and nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother Wallace Kelly of Stark. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday morning January 16, at 10 AM at Holy Family Church. Burial will follow in the Holy Family Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. In lieu of flowers she would ask that you enjoy life and love your family to the fullest.
