Korrine Mitchell

Korrine Mitchell, 54, passed away on August 21, 2022 at her home after a period of failing health. She was born in Putnam, CT on August 17, 1968, the daughter of the late Jim Mullane and Florence (Sonner) Tourville. Korrine was raised in Plainfield, CT and resided in Sterling, CT for many years before moving to Berlin 5 years ago. Korrine enjoyed spending time fishing, hiking, camping and spending anytime she could outdoors. She enjoyed watching movies, listening to music in the car and trips to the ocean. Spending time with family was her greatest priority.

She is survived by her partner of 25 years Karen Cholewa of Berlin; daughters Amelia Mitchell of Rutledge, GA and Kimberly Mitchell of Woodstock, CT; son Matthew Mitchell II of Berlin; grandchildren: Carra, Sawyer, Matthew III and Rosalie; a sister Kimberly Mulroney of Berlin; step-father Arthur Tourvile of Berlin; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents as well as siblings Kevin Mullane and Michael Mullane.
