June B. Mortenson

June B. Mortenson, 98, of Pittsfield and formerly of Berlin, passed away on Tuesday September 13, 2016 at the Epsom Healthcare Center in Epsom. Mrs. Mortenson was born in Berlin on June 2, 1918 a daughter of Ernest and Evelyn (Barbin) Bushway. She resided in Berlin for most of her life and was a 1937 graduate of Berlin High School. June was the librarian for the Berlin Public Library for over 14 years and was a member of St. Barnabas Church. She enjoyed reading and knitting. Family members include her children; Karen Olson of Wolfeboro, NH and Kenton Mortenson and wife Carol of Danbury, NH; 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband George Mortenson in 1981 and a son Keith Mortenson in 2013. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday September 21, 2016 at 1 PM at the Old City Cemetery in Berlin.
