Juliette Mcguire

Berlin, NH

Mrs. Juliette McGuire went to her heavenly home on November 30, 2013 after a short battle with cancer.

Juliette was born in Lawrence, Mass in 1921 to Gabrielle (Rheault) and Francis X. Coutu. After her schooling, she enjoyed working as a technician at the Western Electric Co in Lawrence for many years.

On January 2, 1965, she married Arthur McGuire, a native of Berlin, NH. Julie then went to work at Converse Rubber and Bass Shoe Companies, where she met many friends.

She was a devoted Catholic all of her life and Holy Family Church in Gorham, NH. She assisted for many years of the social and religious activities of parish life. She particularly enjoyed working at the St. Joseph's and St. Anne's bingo setups. Her friends will surely remember her spirited enthusiasm at her beloved card parties at her home, casino outings, and many Bingo nights.

Julie loved her family and her friends and often expressed her gratitude for their sharing in her life. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Mr. Henri St. Jean and Matthew Theberge for their assistance and many kindnesses to Julie over the years. Also thanks to her friends for the many car rides they shared with her.

Julie was preceded in death by her husband Arthur McGuire who died in 1991.

She is survived by her sisters Rosemarie Wentink of Fairbanks, AK., and Doris Baran of Windsor Locks, CT., two nieces Allison Gingras of Somers, CT and Denise Novelline of Holliston, MA.; three grandnieces, Shelby, Elizabeth, and Courtney.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am Saturday, December 7, 2013 at Holy Family Church in Gorham, NH.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to either Holy Family Church, 7 Church St, Gorham, NH or to AVH Home Health & Hospice, 59 Page Hill Rd, Berlin, NH 03570.

Arrangements are by Fleury-Patry Funeral Homes of Berlin and Gorham, NH.
