Juliette C (Blanchette) Patry

December 26, 1931 — June 9, 2019

Juliette C. Patry, 87, of Berlin, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 9, 2019 at the Coos County Nursing Home. She was born in Berlin on December 26, 1931, a daughter to Eddie and Emelia (Cadorette) Blanchette. Juliette attended Angel Guardian Catholic Grammar School and graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1949. She went on received her degree in nursing and went on to work at St. Louis Hospital. Juliette married Roland Patry at Angel Guardian Church on Saturday June 26, 1954. Together the couple raised six children.



Juliette worked as a nurse at St. Louis Hospital in Berlin through the transition to Androscoggin Valley Hospital retiring after 42 years as a nurse. She enjoyed knitting, she knitted, sweaters, scarfs, mittens and blankets, she was always working on new projects for her grand-children and great grand-children. Juliette loved to cook, preparing meals for her family and friends and always having baked goods for the grandchildren. In the fall she would spend hours canning vegetables from Rolands gardens and would spend the winter sharing with family. She enjoyed traveling with Roland and the family; taking several family trips to White Lake. In retirement she and Roland traveled all over the US and Canada, she especially enjoyed her trips to the Canadian Rockies and the Calgary Stampede.



Juliette is predeceased by her parents, her brother Ronald, and a sister Irene Swatsky, three grand-children, Keith and Kevin Patry, and Travis Guyot, a great-grandchild Kayden Patry.



She is survived by her husband of 64 years Roland Patry, four sons Richard Patry and his wife Jill, of Groveton, Robert Patry and his wife Lucie of Berlin, Dennis Patry and his wife Dorothy of Independence, KS, and Carl Patry of Berlin, two daughters, Diane Berry and her husband Earl of Gorham, ME, and Joanne Michaud and her husband Jim of Hookset, two brothers Leo Blanchette of Gorham, and Albert Blanchette of Flagler Beach, FL, one sister Doris Bugeau of Bedford, 16 grand-children, 17 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and close friends.



Friends and family are invited to call at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High St. Berlin, on Thursday June 13, 2019 from 6-9PM and June 14, 2019 from 11:30 to 12:30.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Anne Church, Berlin on Friday June 14 at 1PM. Interment will take place at the New Hampshire State Veteran's Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
