Juliette A. "Julie" Merrill formerly of Church Street passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014 at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home in Berlin. She was 92.

Born on March 26, 1921 in Berlin, she was the daughter of the late Theotime and Marie (Baillargeon) Legere.

She was employed by Hartford Hospital in Harford, CT as a Housekeeper. Retiring in 1985, she moved back to Berlin.

She was a communicant of St. Anne's Church and was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne. She also was a member of the Golden Age Club and MESH.

Her past times which she enjoyed included travelling with Ron and Jean, weekly luncheons with her brothers and sisters, crocheting, playing the slots at Foxwoods, sitting on the front porch and visiting with neighbors, Lobster and Clam Feeds, and holiday celebrations with her family.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Maurice Legere; brothers and sister in laws Paul and Jeannette Legere and Arthur and Irma Legere, Ronald N. Demers, & Norman Landry.

She is survived by two sisters, Beatrice Landry and Jeannette Demers, a brother Hubert Legere and his wife Pearl and a sister in law Clarisse Legere all of Berlin, NH.

Nieces and nephews: Ron, Tina and Nicole Demers, Joanne Landry, Mike & Paulette Lambert, David Landry and Sue Perkins, Jerry & Betty Landry, Gail and Ray Rivard, John Legere and Angela, Mark Legere, Dennis Legere, Mike "Stump" Legere, Diane Gorham, Ron & Jane Legere, Claude & Diane Legere, Pete & Louise Marquis, Richard Legere, Ralph & Anita Saucier, Linda & Cliff Carlson, Doris Kennedy, Pauline Burke, Roland & Sharon Legere. Several great nieces & nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1pm on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at St Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. Burial will follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery, Berlin.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2014 from 11:30am to 12:30pm at the Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street in Berlin. (please use School St entrance)
