Julia (Oleson) Ross Finnson

Julia (Oleson) Ross Finnson, 94, formerly of Shelburne, NH passed away on Monday September 9, 2013 at the Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover, NH. She was born in Jefferson, NH on January 1, 1919 the daughter of the late Otto H. and Goldine E. (Stellings) Oleson and lived most of her life in the Berlin, Gorham, Shelburne area. She had been employed as a nutritionist for the UNH Extension Service and also was self employed as a dressmaker. Julia had been a member of St. Barnabas Episcopal Church, the Shelburne Neighbors Club and the Gorham Womans Club. Members of the family include her sons Roderick O. Ross and wife Deborah of The Villages, FL; Kirkland O. (Rusty) Ross and wife Marcia of Gilford, NH and Richard A. Ross and wife Nancy of North Hampton, NH; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister Irma Small of North Conway, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her first husband Charles Ross, her second husband Raymond Finnson, brothers Stellings Oleson, Otto Oleson and Norman Oleson; and a sister Iva Reed. Funeral Services will be held on Friday September 13, 2013 at 11 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade St., Gorham. Interment will be in the Old City Cemetery in Berlin.
