Joseph Leo L. Boucher, 74, of Berlin, NH passed away on Tuesday January 14, 2014 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon. He was born in Berlin, NH on November 3, 1939 the son of the late Herman S. and Alice Marie (Berube) Boucher and graduated from Notre Dame High School. He had served in the U. S. Air Force and lived in Manchester for 27 years before moving back to Berlin 11 years ago. Leo had been employed as a mechanic for many years and delivered cars for Berlin City. He enjoyed dancing, especially square dancing, and was very active in the Mt. Washington Valley Stompers. He also enjoyed camping and loved being busy and helping others. Members of the family include his daughter Ann-Marie Potter and husband Matt of Ashland; son Dave Boucher of Manchester; 3 grandchildren Kristina Burhoe, Kevin Potter and Travis Potter; longtime girlfriend Judy Kelley of Ossipee; brothers Albert Boucher of NY, Henry Boucher of Berlin and Louis Boucher of West Stewartstown. He was predeceased by a brother John Paul and a sister Rita. Relatives and friends are invited to the Northland Restaurant & Dairy Bar on January 25, 2014 from 1 to 5 PM for a celebration of his life. Donations in his memory may be made to the Red Cross, the Salvation Army, the local food banks, DHMC-Oncology or Dana Farber. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
