Joan Wilson

Mrs. Joan (Antonsen) Wilson, 75, of 87 Hackett Rd., Belmont, NH and a former longtime resident of Shelburne, NH, passed away on Tuesday January 20, 2009 at her home. She was born in Berlin, NH on May 27, 1933 the daughter of George and Beryl (Oldham) Antonsen and lived most of her life in the North Country. She moved to Belmont in 2007. She was a member of the Winthrop Grange #315 for nearly 50 years and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Members of the family include her husband David W. Wilson of Belmont, NH; 2 daughters Kristine Roberts and her husband Mark of Belmont, NH and Karen West and her husband Derek of Belmont, NH; 1 son David G. Wilson and his wife Rachel of Chichester, NH; 1 brother Robert G. Antonsen and his wife Patricia of Somerville, SC; 1 brother-in-law Kenneth James Wilson and wife Laura of Stone Mountain, GA;11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by a lifelong friend, Jay Lafleur. A Memorial Service will be held in the spring at the Shelburne Union Church at a date and time to be announced. Calling hours will be private. Spring interment will be in the Peabody Cemetery in Shelburne, NH. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the NH Kidney Foundation, Pillsbury Building, Concord Hospital, Concord, NH, 03301 or to Friends of Acadia National Park, PO Box 45, Bar Harbor, ME, 04609. The Bryant Funeral Home in Gorham, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
