Jeannine R. Gosselin

September 30, 1938 — December 27, 2019

Jeannine Rose Gosselin, 81, of Berlin, passed away at her home on December 27, 2019 after a period of declining health. She was born in Berlin on September 30, 1938, the daughter of the late Odina and Jeannette (Cloutier) Viens and lived in Berlin for most of her life. She was a member of Guardian Angel Church, now Good Shepherd Parish, and was a member of the Marie Rivier Association. She loved to read, exercise and volunteer. She was employed for many years as a Certified Nurses Aide for St. Louis Hospital, St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home and by AV Home Care Services. Lastly, she was employed by the City of Berlin as a crossing guard at the corner of Hillside Ave and High Street.



Members of the family include her sons Robert Gosselin and wife Shelley of Pembroke, NH and Roger Gosselin and spouse Todd Jackson of Auburn, ME; grandchildren Kristen Roy and husband Dan of Ashland, OR, Elise Blanchette of Old Orchard Beach, ME, Jeffrey Gosselin and wife Sara of Loudon, NH, Cari Perreault and husband Luc of Berlin, NH, Zachary Gosselin and wife Paige of Berlin, NH, Alexander Gosselin of Auburn, ME and Ryan Gosselin of Pembroke, NH; great grandchildren Elliot Gosselin, Logan Perreault, Maeve Gosselin all of Berlin, Lionel Roy of Ashland, OR and Paxton Gosselin of Louden, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Roger D. Gosselin, daughter Michelle Gosselin-Fillion.



A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, January 11, 2019 at 10am at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. Friends and relatives are invited to call from 8:30-9:30am, prior to the service, at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. Interment will take place in the spring at the St. Pius Cemetery in Errol, NH. Donations in Jeannine’s memory may be made to the ASPCA (www.aspca.org).
