Jeannette B Legere

Berlin, NH

Jeannette B Legere, 80, formerly of Norway Street and presently of Coos Country Nursing Home passed away, Tuesday, August 13, 2013 surrounded by family.

Jeannette was born in Berlin, September 28, 1932, the daughter of the late Arthur and Rose Anna (Filteau) Boulanger.

She attended St Regis School in Berlin and graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1951.

On April 24, 1954, she married Paul Legere and together they raised four sons and a daughter.

She was employed by Weare Knitters where she worked as a seamstress. She retired in 1994 from the Berlin School Systems where she worked as a reading tutor.

She was a member of St Anne Church now known as St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her greatest love was her family, she was a very loving, caring and devoted, wife, mother and grandmother. She and Paul spent many years and deeply enjoyed following their children for all their sporting events. In their later years they enjoyed traveling and spending their winters in Florida.

She is predeceased by her husband, Paul who passed away on November 14, 2008.

She leaves behind four sons, Denis Legere of Providence, RI, Michael Legere of Berlin, NH, Ronald Legere and wife Jane of Gorham, NH, Claude Legere and wife Diane of Lee, NH, a daughter Diane Gorham of Gorham, NH. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Stefan Gorham, Aleigh Legere, Danika Gorham and Lance Legere, cousins and several nieces and nephews

She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Author Boulanger, Robert Boulanger, Romeo Boulanger, Francis Boulanger, Maurice "Baldy" Boulanger, her sisters, Marguerite Bergeron, Cecile Delorge and Yvette Morneau.

Friends and relatives may call on the family on Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and from 8:30am to 9:30am on Friday, August 16, 2013 at the Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am Friday, August 16, 2013 at St Anne's Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Burial will follow at Mt Calvary Cemetery in Berlin, NH

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Coos Country Nursing Home Activity Fund, PO Box 416 Berlin, NH 03570
