Jeannette A Belanger

Jeannette A. Belanger, 88, formerly of Kent Street passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at St. Vincent de Paul Nursing Home.

Born in Berlin, on January 18, 1925, a daughter of the late Eugene E. and Delia (Frechette) Lessard.

She attended Berlin High School then Notre Dame High School both in Berlin.

She was a member of Guardian Angel Parish and recently St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish and RSVP.

On November 11, 1946 she married Normand J. Belanger and together they raised a son and two daughters.

Jeannette was employed by JC Penny in Berlin as a sales associate until her retirement in 1982.

She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her greatest love was her family, she was a very loving, caring and devoted, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Her past times included knitting and crocheting.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Normand J. Belanger, Son Paul Belanger, brother Norman Lessard, and a sister Florence Gionet. .

She is survived by two daughters, Denise Plummer and her husband Peter of Milan and Sylvia Hendricks and her husband Jeffrey of Texas. She also leaves seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Friday, January 17th at St Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. Burial will follow at St. Kieran Cemetery, Berlin.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 16th from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street in Berlin. (please use School St entrance)
