Jeanne D'Arc (Fleury) Bourbeau

April 24, 1919 — December 6, 2012

Berlin, Jeanne D'Arc (Fleury) Bourbeau formerly of Wight Street and a resident of Coos County Nursing Home, (Queen Elizabeth Hotel), passed away December 6, 2012, surrounded by her family. Jeanne was born April 24, 1919 in Winslow, Quebec, the daughter of Joseph and Marie (Breton) Fleury. She married her "Chevalier" Louis Bourbeau on August 20, 1937. Jeanne was the Matriarch of the Fleury and her immediate famiy. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Prior to her retirement, she would help her husband in renovating their home and later built a camp. She babysat for working moms, was an Avon lady for many years, was employed at Ware Knitters and a stitcher at Granite State Rubber Company. She was a renowned seamstress, many people wore their clothes proudly because of her alterations. It gladdened her to design and sew lovely creations for many. She took up painting and many were glad recipients of the finished pieces, her hands were never idle. She was a member of St. Joseph Parish and now St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. She was involved in the Democrat Club, Ladies Social at St. Anne, T.O.P.S., The Golden Age Club, Francoise Martin's Line Dancing Group, lead singer in home French Soiree's, The Ladies of St. Anne and Folk Group Choir member at St. Joseph's and many decorating committees. She was an active member in all of these. She is predeceased by her parents and siblings; Rose (Pare), Paul Fleury, Marie Jeanne (Fortier), Rodrique Fleury and Louis Fleury. She is survived by her three children: Robert Bourbeau and wife Laurette of Berlin, Raymond Bourbeau and wife Diana of Milan, Linda Belanger and husband Marcel of Berlin, a sister, Noella Goupil and husband Richard, and a sister in law Georgette Fleury of Lac Megantic, Quebec. She leaves 10 grandchildren; Lisa, Claude, Rene, Sylvia, Diane, Paul, Sherry, Sonia, Tom, Amy and 9 great grandchildren Katlyn, Dillon, Alexander, Maranda, Ariel, Rayna, Robert, Riley and Alaina. Jeanne also had many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 10, 2012 at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish in Berlin. Calling hours will be held on, Sunday, December 9, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH Donations may be made to Coos County Nursing Home PO Box 416, Berlin NH 03570
