Jeanne A. Demers

Jeanne A. (Labbe) Demers, 86, of Gorham, NH, passed away on Saturday March 4, 2017 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital. She was born in Berlin on March 23, 1930 the daughter of Clifford Labbe and Regina and George Barlow and lived most of her life in the Berlin-Gorham area. She had attended St. Marys Convent in Island Pond, VT. Jeanne was a member of Holy Family Church, Senior Meals and TOPS Club, where she was a past Queen. She enjoyed her camp in Wentworth Location, bowling and had bowled in several different leagues. Jeanne always put family first, hosted big Sunday dinners, loved playing cards and was overall a loving and feisty woman. Family includes her loving husband of 67 years Robert Demers of Gorham, NH; children Richard Demers and wife Linda of Gorham, NH, Janet Roberge and husband Normand Gordie of West Milan, NH and Patricia Faucher and husband Russell of Berlin, NH; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister Jeannette Demers of Berlin, NH; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son Michael Demers and his wife Diane and her sisters Donna Glover and Theresa Preale. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday March 9, 2017 at 10 AM at Holy Family Church in Gorham. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 1 Promenade St., Gorham on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
