Jean L. Devoid

Mrs. Jean L. Devoid, 76, of 513 Hillsboro St., Berlin, NH passed away on Mothers Day, Sunday May 10, 2009 at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester. She was born in Berlin on September 12, 1932 the daughter of Ernest and Florence (Dion) Coulombe and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Notre Dame High School. Mrs. Devoid had been employed by Munces Superior for 20 years and prior to that, was employed by Tri County CAP. She was a member of Good Shepherd Parish, was an avid bowler and had camped at Israel River Campground for many years, since the time of its inception. Members of the family include her daughter Donna Parent and her husband Maurice of Shelburne, NH; 2 sons Edward Devoid and his wife Jody of Cincinnati, OH and Robert Devoid of York, ME; 6 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 1 brother Paul Coulombe of Las Vegas, NV; 1 sister Yvette Bilodeau of Errol, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Devoid, a brother Norman Coulombe and her parents. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday May 14, 2009 at 11 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, 345 Pleasant St., Berlin, NH. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Thursday morning from 9 to 10:30 AM, prior to the service.
