Janet L King

Janet L. King passed away on December 10, 2018 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital. She was 73 years old.



Born in Berlin, NH on April 6, 1945 she was the daughter of Alex and Marie-Blanche (Bisson) Rabidas.



Janet worked as a substitute teacher in the Berlin School System for many years and then worked as a manager at Richs Department Store. Prior to retirement she was employed at Irving Oil Food Trend as a sales clerk.



She was married to Hubert and together they raised three children. Her greatest joy was her family; she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She also enjoyed going shopping, gambling and spending time with her friends watching movies.



Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Hubert; her brother Norman Rabidas and two sisters Lorraine Treamer and Cecile Rabidas.



She leaves behind her children Celine Leborgne and husband Paul of Berlin, Cecile Sommala and husband Vilasack of Fitchburg MA, and Paul King and girlfriend Holly Desrosiers of Center Conway, NH; grandchildren, Nathan, Trevor and Blake Leborgne, Tim Allen and Kevin Sommala; close friends, Rita Lambert and Terry Lancey and several nieces and nephews.



A graveside services will be held in the spring.
