Ivan E. Kennedy

Ivan E. Kennedy, 94, of Gorham passed away December 8, 2016 at Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin, after a period of declining health. He was born in Island Pond, VT on February 13, 1922 the son of John and Josephine (Vachon) Kennedy. He worked for many years in New York City working as the Secretary to the President of Railway Express and was a US Army Veteran of World War II. Members of the family include his nieces Carol Hensley of Concord, NH, Patricia Nolin of Concord, NH, and Donna Losier of Mokena, Il. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday December 10, 2016 at 11am at Holy Family Church in Gorham with interment to follow in the Holy Family Cemetery. According to Ivans wishes there will be no calling hours. Donations in his memory may be made to Holy Family Parish, 151 Emery Street, Berlin, NH 03570 or to Coos County Nursing Home Activities Fund, PO Box 416, Berlin, NH 03570. The Bryant Funeral Home of Gorham has been entrusted with the arrangements.
