Isabelle A Payeur

Isabelle A. (Laflamme) Payeur, formerly of Main Street passed away Friday afternoon (July 27, 2012) at Coos County Nursing Home where she had resided for the past five years. She was 96.

Born on September 1, 1915 in Littleton, NH, she was the daughter of George D. and Josephine (Latulippe) Laflamme.

Isabelle was raised in Littleton, NH and moved to Berlin when she was five years old. She attended Berlin schools.

In June 1950, she married Louis A. Payeur. They made their home in Berlin and together they raised two daughters.

For many years, she was employed in the towel room at the Brown Company Cascade Mill, retiring in 1977.

Over the years, she was a member of Local # 75, the Third Order of St. Francis, the Ladies of St. Anne's, the Golden Age Club, MESH and was a volunteer at the hospital for many years.

She is pre-deceased by her husband Louis (1970), 3 brothers: Alfred, Lawrence, and Raymond Laflamme, a sister Florence Chiasson

She leaves two daughters: Louise Dougherty and her husband Kenneth of Berlin and Lorraine Lajoie and her husband Roger of Gorham.

Grandchildren: Andrea Peters, Melissa Nickerson and her husband Daniel, Selena Aube and her husband Kurt, and Monica Poulin and her husband Jonathan, and Mandy Remillard.

Great-grandchildren: Devyn Peters, Tanner Robinson, Bronson and Piper Aube, and Meghan Remillard.

Several nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at 11am Saturday, August 4 in the parlor of Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High St, Berlin, NH. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Berlin.

Calling hours will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, August 3 at the funeral home.
