Irene T. Bisson

Irene T. Bisson, 84, formerly of Cole Street, passed away Sunday evening, February 3, 2013, at the Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin. She was born in Akron, Ohio on February 11, 1928 a daughter of Granville and Thelma Faye (Burch) Byrd. She moved to Berlin 1952 and for a time she lived in Derry, NH and Vermont, returning to Berlin in 1994. She drove a bus for Timberlane Bus Co. in Derry, retiring in 1989. She enjoyed pictures, flowers, crocheting, traveling and especially spending time with her family. Family members include her children, Sandra Turmel and husband Glenn of Berlin, Steven Bisson and wife Rachel of Las Vegas, Nevada, Robert Bisson and wife Donna of Concord and Tracy Bisson and wife Lisa of Gorham, two sisters Mary Bolman of Aptos, CA and Rosalie Day of White River Jct. , VT, 14 grandchildren, Justin Atwood of Manchester, Josh Turmel of Manchester, Eric Turmel of Manchester, Joel Turmel of San Francisco, CA, Nick Halpin of Manchester, Christopher Bisson of Las Vegas, Corey Bisson of Las Vegas, Breann Bisson of Keene, Bobby Bisson of Rochester, Jessica Bisson of Manchester, Amy Bisson of Manchester, Kyle Bisson of Manchester, Jaimie Bisson of Berlin and Brandon Bisson of Gorham, 16 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a son Larry Bisson. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013 at 1 PM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin. A time of visitation will be held Saturday from 12 to 1 PM prior to the service. Burial will be in St. Kieran Cemetery in the spring.
