Inese Treimanis

Mrs. Inese Treimanis, 78, of 16 Adams Street, Berlin, NH passed away on Tuesday October 23, 2007 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on December 10, 1928 in Riga, Latvia and was the daughter of Roberts and Olga (Stiebris) Kalnins. Mrs. Treimanis moved to the United States in 1949 and became a US Citizen in 1956. She lived in Boston, MA and Millinocket, ME before moving to Berlin in 1966. She had been employed the Boston Insurance. She had attended St. Paul Lutheran Church, was a Girl Scout Leader for many years both in Latvia and in the US, was a member of the Latvian Association-DV, ASV, Inc. and enjoyed sewing and knitting. Members of the family include her husband of 57 years, Edgars Treimanis of Berlin, NH; a niece Gabrielle Witehof of Australia; a nephew Guido Kolminsks of Australia; a godson Andris Lenbergs of Franklin, MA; a special family friend Carmine Stramanis of Norwood, MA; many friends and neighbors. A Memorial Service with internment will be held in the spring at the Latvian Memorial Park Cemetery in Elka Park, NY. The Bryant Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
