Gregory B. Ruel

Gregory B. Ruel, 67, of Gorham, NH, passed away on Thursday March 29, 2018 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born in Portland, ME on May 23, 1950 the son of the late Joseph and Ruth (Rogers) Ruel, Jr. and lived most of his life in Gorham. Greg was a member of Holy Family Church and had been employed as a furniture finisher at Cherry Pond Designs in Jefferson. He loved to garden, do lawn work at his home, fish and spend time with his family and his longtime companion. Family includes his longtime companion Linda Gillingham of Gorham, NH; children Brian Ruel and wife Kelly and Gorham, NH, Bradley Ruel of Derby Line, VT and Angela Ruel of Bennington, VT; 3 grandchildren Matthew, Damon and Rhaelynn; brother Michael Ruel of Manchester, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Ruel, III. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday April 7, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Holy Family Church in Gorham. Interment will follow at the Holy Family Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. The Bryant Funeral Home in Gorham is in charge of the arrangements.
