George H. Roy

Mr. George H. Roy, 78, of 439 Alpine Street, Berlin, NH passed away on Thursday March 3, 2011 at his home. He was born in Errol, NH on March 17, 1932 the son of Paul N. and Bella (Rochleau) Roy and lived in Berlin for most of his life. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War and was a member of Good Shepherd Parish. He was employed by Brown Company, Gulf and Western and James River Corporation, retiring in 1991. Members of the family include his wife Jeannette (Francoeur) Roy of Berlin, NH; a son Kirk Roy of Berlin, NH; a daughter Sheila (Roy) Dorval of Berlin, NH; 5 grandchildren; 3 sisters Jeanne Venturo of New Britain, CT, Fernande Cibula of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Doris Wagner of Berlin, NH; a brother Normand Roy of Berlin, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother Hubert King and sisters Mabel Roy and Yvette Hryniecz. Private Services will be held on at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin, NH. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
