Gemma Y. Bizier

Gemma Y. (Dallaire) Bizier, 84, of Berlin, passed away on Saturday February 10, 2018 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born in St. Gedeon, P.Q., Canada the daughter of David and Alexandrine (Quiron) Dallaire and moved to Berlin in 1957. She had been employed by the village of St. Gedeon as a teacher before moving to Berlin. Gemma was a member of Good Shepherd Parish, the Ladies of St. Anne and the Church Social Club. Gemma volunteered at the church and at the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Shop. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards and was also an avid Boston Red Sox, Celtics and Bruins fan. Family includes her daughter Linda Pivin of Berlin, NH and son Richard Bizier of Acton, MA; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, Raymond Bizier, and her son, Claude Bizier. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 1pm at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Friends and relatives are invited to meet directly at the church. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of ones choice. The Bryant Funeral Home in Berlin is in charge of the arrangements.
