Freeman J Howard

Freeman J. Howard SR formally of Gorham passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017 at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital. He was 93 years old.

He was born in Berlin on April 2, 1924, he was the son of Edward and Mary (Green) Howard.

Freeman served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He retired from James River Corp where he was employed as a laborer in 1983.

He was a generous and happy man. His family was important to him and he could often be found enjoying the outdoors in his garden.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Beverly (Rowe) Howard; two daughters Jean Roy and Judy Theberge.

He leaves behind his two sons Freeman Howard Jr and wife Lisa of Kentucky, and Michael Howard of Gorham; a daughter Arlene OHara of Laconia, NH; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be no services at this time. Interment will be at Lary Cemetery at a later date.
