Frederick Chorette

Frederick Chorette, 84, of Dummer, NH, passed away on Tuesday November 6, 2018 at the Coos County Nursing Home. He was born in Ashland, ME on February 25, 1934 the son of Samuel and Lena (Dambois) Chorette and lived in Maine until he entered the US Marine Corps. After returning from the service, he lived in Connecticut and moved to Dummer in 1976. Frederick was a self-employed as a truck driver and had also worked for Ramsey Trucking, Hawk and Nelson Freight. He was a 4th Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus and was also a member of the VFW. He was an avid baseball fan, liked cowboys and was very particular about his lawn. Family includes his wife Shirley (Bushey) Chorette of Dummer; children Gailen Chorette and wife Cynthia of Berlin, Denise Rummel and husband Robert of PA, Lisa Beaudoin and husband John of Dummer; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; siblings Patrick Charette and wife Theresa of Dummer, Kathleen Yates of Berlin and Violette Dubey and husband Frank of Ocala, FL. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 10th from 3 PM to 5 PM, followed by a funeral service at 5 PM at Bryant Funeral Home in Berlin. Interment will be at a later date.
