Mrs. Frances T. Chamberlain, 93, passed away peacefully with family members by her side on Sunday January 21, 2007 at the St. Vincent de Paul Healthcare Center in Berlin following a brief illness. She was born in Salem, MA on November 18, 1913 the daughter of Edgar and Teresa (Fluck) Demeule. She raised her family in Dover, NH and resided in Machias, Maine for twenty three years before moving to Berlin. She attended St. Kieran Church for several years and most recently celebrated mass at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Members of her family include 2 sons Francis E. Chamberlain and wife Joan of Shelburne, NH and Thomas A. Chamberlain and wife Clarene of Merrimack, NH; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband and best friend, Allen L. Chamberlain in 1974. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered as a faithful and giving person who loved to sew, bake, knit, swim, ice skate, do fine crewel work, grow extensive vegetable gardens, bird watch, and who gave unfailing support and encouragement to her familys hopes and dreams. Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 27, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH with Sister Monique Therriault presiding. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 10-11 AM on Saturday, prior to the funeral. Interment will be in St. Marys Cemetery in Dover, NH at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Androscoggin Valley Home Care Services, 795 Main St. Berlin, NH, 03570 or St. Kieran Arts Center, 155 Emery St, Berlin, NH, 03570 or to a charity of ones choice.
