Florence M. Allen of Watson Street passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin. She was 57.

Born on August 12, 1955 in Berlin, NH, she was the daughter of Robert O. and Laura M. (Lacroix) Blais.

Florence grew up in Gorham and was a graduate of Gorham High School.

On July 19, 1975, she married Richard G. Allen and they made their home in Berlin.

She was a homemaker and was employed at Gamm for several years.

She enjoyed playing darts, bingo and gaming at casinos.

Besides her parents, she is pre-deceased by an infant daughter Amy Allen on August 25, 1985.

She leaves her husband of 37 years Richard G. Allen of Berlin

A son Greg R. Allen and his wife Kimberly of Berlin, NH and a daughter Samantha Allen and her companion Jeremy Eafrati of Berlin.

Three brothers Robert Blais of Massachusetts, Roland Blais and his wife Judy of Gorham, and Roger Blais and his wife Irene of Berlin.

A Memorial service will be held at 11am Wednesday, September 26 in the parlor of Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH. Burial will be at St. Anne's Cemetery, Berlin.

Calling hours will be held from 2-4pm and 6-8pm Tuesday, Sept 25 at the funeral home.
