Emilienne M. Hamel

Emilienne M. Hamel, 98, of Cambridge, NH, formerly of Milan, passed away on Saturday September 16, 2017 at the Rumford Community Home in Rumford, ME. She was born in Berlin on May 24, 1919 the daughter of Alfred and Lydia (Leclerc) Guay and was educated in Berlin schools. She lived in Milan for many years and was a member of Good Shepherd Parish. Emilienne loved painting, music, dancing, baking, walking her dog, spending time at her camp at Lake Umbagog and spending time with her family. Family includes her daughters Ann Dolan of Millsboro, DE and Loreen Brigham and husband Steven of Derry, NH; sons Robert Hamel of Cambridge, NH and Gary Hamel and wife Bonnie of Milan, NH; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Armand Hamel who passed away on 1983. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday September 20, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Milan. Relatives and friends may call at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Ave., Berlin on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM.
