Elizabeth Landry

Elizabeth M. Landry, a longtime resident of Berlin died Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Epsom Healthcare Center in Epsom, NH following a period of declining health. She was 91.

Born on January 26, 1925 in Berlin, NH, she was the daughter of Ernest A. and Clara (Fowler) Bennett.

Elizabeth attended Bartlett school.

She retired from Converse Rubber Company where she worked for many years.

She was a communicant of St. Barnabas Church in Berlin.

She loved to crochet and do different crafts. She enjoyed visiting family and traveling. She also loved to bake and was well known for her chocolate chip cookies and divinity fudge.

She leaves her daughter Gail C. Holmes of New Durham, NH, A son Austin S. Holmes and wife Linda of Gorham, NH, 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, three sisters Barbara Ungaro of Sarasota, FL, Sheila McGuire and her husband Joseph of Worcester, MA, and Constance Joan Gingras and her husband Leo of Derry, NH; and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, June 4th at St. Kierans Cemetery in Berlin.

In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to The Alzheimers Association, 166 S. River Road #210, Bedford, NH 03110
