Elizabeth (Betty) Jane (Devost) Delisle of Derrah Street passed away in her sleep on Monday, March 13, 2017 at St. Vincent de Paul Rehabilitation and Nursing Center following a brief illness. She was 84 years old.

Born on August 28, 1932 in Berlin, she was the daughter of Alfred and Elizabeth (McKinnon) Devost, and was a life-long resident of Berlin. She graduated from Berlin High School, enjoyed spending time with her dad, loved to knit, and was a telephone operator.

On October 1, 1955 she married the love of her life, Henry (Buddy) Delisle. Together they raised five children.

Bettys greatest love was her family. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her true companion was her husband Henry. Together they would ride their motorcycle and travel around the north country. She always found a way to make his hobbies her hobbies. As Bud would tackle projects around the home, Betty was there by his side, holding the light, lifting her side of the board, or passing him whatever was needed, making sure he was safe.

Her home was the center of her life. Making it homey was important to her and it was where she most wanted to be. She loved to be surrounded by her family, making special meals, playing games with her grandchildren, sitting on her swing in the backyard, and caring for all of the family pets.

Besides her parents she is predeceased by her brother Donald and son-in-law Robert Buteau.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 62 years Henry of Berlin; one son Michael DeLisle and wife Debra of Rochester, NH; four daughters, Judy-Marie Buteau of Berlin, Diane Delisle of Concord, NH, Mary Elizabeth Therriault and husband James (Jim) of Dover, NH, and Jennifer Morse and husband Michael of Dover, NH; grandchildren, Stephanie Hogan and husband Scott, Matthew Buteau and wife Jen, Jonathan DeLisle, Jeremy DeLisle, Jaime Therriault and fianc Edward Flanagan, Jessica Therriault, Katelyn Morse and fianc Nick Reval, and Elizabeth Morse; great-grandchildren Bryan Hogan, Rebecca Hogan, Eric Hogan, Madisyn Buteau, Travis Lemieux, Emily Parent, Cullen Buteau, Cole Buteau and Olivia Boucher; her sister Roberta Blais and husband Richard of FL; her sister-in-law Cecile Devost of Berlin; several nieces and nephews.
