Elise-Anna was fondly known as "Anna". She passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at St. Vincent de Paul Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 29 Providence Avenue, Berlin, NH following a period of declining health. She was 95 years old.

Born on May 16, 1920, in Jackman, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose-Anna (Poulin) Deblois.

When Anna was much younger, her family moved frequently and lived in lumber-jack camps traveling to different areas in Maine and in Canada. Her father was the Boss and her mother was the main Cook. Anna, as a young adult, had the opportunity to live a period of time with Mrs. Greene in Waterville, Maine who taught her proper etiquettes in dining and some business knowledge. This would prove to be very beneficial in her future endeavors.

On June 16, 1941 Anna married Arthur Giguere. After marrying Arthur, Anna worked at Newberrys in Berlin, NH at the food and soda counter.

After some time, Anna and Arthur, became the owners of the Tower Inn in Jefferson, NH for many years. She was mostly self-taught in food preparation, in serving food and being a great business women. She was well known at the Tower Inn not only for her great cooking and baking skills, but for her lavish spreads for Weddings and Holiday occasions. She made several Wedding Cakes and catered to the hunters during the Fall Season. During some time at the Tower Inn, Anna and her husband Arthur unselfishly helped with a family situation by taking in a few nieces and nephews whom remained under their supervision. Anna and Arthur later co-owned the Berlin City Diner in Berlin, NH. The diner was located across the street from Dunkin-Donuts today, the same area that Vallero is presently located.

Anna later married Emilien Labonville. He owned many Labonville Stores. She worked at the Gorham, NH store.

Anna was a devout practicing Catholic parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church in Gorham, NH. She enjoyed working in her vegetable and flower gardens. She found great pleasure in being at her camp on French Hill Road in Milan, NH. In later years, she enjoyed local fishing and berry picking.

Anna was generous in giving away many of her prized possessions. Anna had befriended Roland and Lynda Arsenaults family and considered them as extended family, which remain cherished by family and friends. She very much enjoyed traveling. She mostly traveled in the USA and Canada. She pursued her traveling until she reached 92 years old. She took several bus trips and day trips. She enjoyed her life in Florida during the winter months. She was well known for being active in local events.

Anna was predeceased by her parents, her brother Paul Deblois and a niece Patricia Enman.

Anna is survived by her loving sister; Denise Dumoulin and brother-in-law, Leonard Dumoulin; several nieces and nephews. She had a huge loving presence in the lives of niece and Godchild, Lise and husband Bob Peters; niece Rachel and husband Ivan Beaudoin; niece Pauline and husband Daniel St. Amant. She was warmly close to her great-nieces and nephews; Karen Peters, Gary Peters and wife Sara; Michael Beaudoin and wife Meghan; Melissa Beaudoin and boyfriend Matthew Letendre; Paul St. Amant and girlfriend Courtney; Jennifer St. Amant and boyfriend Emmit Langlois. Great-great niece Emma Peters and great-great nephew Ethan Peters. Anna affectionaly called her great-great niece MaKenna Everlee-Rose Letendre, as "Baby Rose".

Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 12th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Fleury-Patry Funeral Home, 72 High Street, Berlin, NH and prior to Mass on Saturday from 8:30am to 9:30am.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February, 13th at 10:00am at St. Anne Church of Good Shepherd Parish, Berlin, NH. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Activity Fund at St. Vincent de Paul Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, 29 Providence Avenue, Berlin, NH.
